Robert Cooper "Bob" Catesby

Catesby Penniman Jones, Alexandria, VA, the late Bob Catesby, London, England, and Joe Roberson, Columbia, TN, stand near the Catesby Village roadsign in England. Catesby is located about four miles south of Daventry and some fifteen miles west of Northampton. William the Conqueror's Domesday Book listed our ancestor Sasfrid as living here; thus, the village was named after him. Robert Cooper "Bob" Catesby started Catesby Reunions in the 1980's in England and attended family reunions in Williamsburg, VA, on more than one occasion. Through many years of devoted research, he provided much of the early Catesby record dating to Sasfrid de Catesby in 1086 A.D. Bob died 16 November 2001 near his home in Brentwood, loved and admired by all who knew him.
